Carroll, Iowa - Thrift World’s highly anticipated Carroll, Iowa, store will be opening on March 18, 2022. The store will be holding a Grand Store Opening event on Friday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with music courtesy of Houston Alexander. 

“We are so excited to bring new jobs, more nonprofit funding, and a trendy thrift shopping experience to the Carroll market,” shares Steven Stark, CEO of Thrift World. 

Thrift World’s new store in Carroll, Iowa is located at 1407 Radiant Road is the seventh store in the Midwest region and the second store located in Iowa. The store will occupy the building previously used by Jet’s Outdoor Power.

Thrift World’s team renovated the building with the assistance of local vendors like Outlaw Signs Graphics & Apparel, Greteman & Associates, DR Electric, Ragaller Drywall LLC, Capital Sanitary Supply, Carroll Lumber, Days Inn, Sherwin-Williams, Bomgaars, Ace Hardware, Midwest Wholesale and Reisberg Audio & Detail. 

With about 20,000 square feet of space, Thrift World hopes this store will appeal to shoppers of all ages and budgets. Shoppers can expect a wide selection of clothing, accessories, furniture, electronics and household items. 

Currently, Thrift World is accepting donations and job applications. You can bring donations to the Carroll store, donation bins around Iowa or schedule an at-home donation pick. The store is currently looking to fill 20+ positions. Both job applications and donation information can be found through their website.
