Research indicates the U.S. Patent number 4,705,371 printed on the glasses, related to a method for producing 3D images, was granted in 1987, helping to date these items accurately. Each pair is made from red cardboard and prominently features the iconic Coca-Cola script logo, the "Dynamic Ribbon" device, and the nostalgic "The Official Soft Drink of Summer" slogan. The text also specifies they are for "viewing fluoptix. 3-D presentations only" and were printed in Mexico.
