Omaha, Nebraska - Thrift World is proud to announce the grand store opening of our 108th & L store in Omaha, Nebraska. The grand store opening is scheduled for June 16, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. This event will feature DJ music courtesy of Houston Alexander. 

“Thrift World has been gone from West Omaha for too many years,” remarks Diangela Strauss, Regional Manager. “We had been operating in the strip center near the Amazing Pizza Machine for nearly a decade, and are excited to be back West-ish at 108th & L. We absolutely loved the customer following that 24th & Q have grown into over the past 14 years, and do hope that many will make the 4 mile trip to check us out!”

Thrift World relocated their 24th & Q store to 108th & L, where the former Family Fun Center XL resided. This once dark space was fully remodeled with fresh white paint and replacing existing light fixtures to make the space more inviting. Thrift World hopes this new building will allow them the opportunity to provide more merchandise and convenience for their customers. 

Thrift World’s 108th & L store will also be accepting item donations. Donors may drop off donations in-store, at one of our bins or schedule an at-home donation pick-up. All item donations will help Thrift World continue to support our community partners - Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands and Paralyzed Veterans of America Great Plains Chapter.
