Vintage Dental Prosthetic
Mandibular Partial Denture with Metal Framework
Mid-20th Century Medical Curiosity

This vintage mandibular (lower) partial denture serves as an interesting artifact of mid-century dental prosthetics. The piece features a cast metal framework, likely a chrome-cobalt alloy, designed to provide stability and support for the replacement teeth while clasping onto remaining natural dentition. This specific design utilizes a lingual bar to connect the bilateral acrylic saddles, a common technique for managing partial tooth loss in the lower jaw.

• Cast metal lingual bar framework with integrated retaining clasps
• Pink acrylic resin base designed to simulate natural gingival tissue
• Resin or porcelain posterior teeth showing anatomical occlusion patterns
• Approximately 2.25" wide (ruler visible in photos)

Condition: This item is sold for display and curiosity purposes only. The acrylic and teeth show significant age-related staining and wear consistent with previous use and long-term storage. The metal framework shows a natural patina and surface oxidation in recessed areas. All components are structurally intact with no major cracks to the acrylic saddles. Not intended for medical use.
