Kodak Vintage Box Camera Lot - 2 Pieces
No. 2A Brownie & Large Format Box Camera
Early 20th Century

This lot features two iconic examples of early American amateur photography equipment produced by the Eastman Kodak Company. Included are a No. 2A Brownie, designed for 116 roll film, and a larger box camera variant designed for 130 roll film. These cameras represent the simplicity of the "snapshot" era, featuring fixed-focus lenses and simple rotary shutters that brought photography to the masses in the 1910s and 1920s.

Items Included:
1. Kodak No. 2A Brownie - Identified by "No. 2A Brownie" embossed on back plate, uses 116 film, features two brilliant finders for portrait and landscape orientation.
2. Kodak 130 Film Box Camera - Larger body style identified by "Use Film No. 130" on the rear panel, metal film advance key, and dual viewfinders.

Condition: Both cameras show significant cosmetic wear consistent with age. The leatherette covering on both units is peeling at the edges and corners, with visible scuffing and surface loss. Metal components, including the winding keys and shutter levers, show oxidation and tarnish. The glass in the viewing windows is dusty and shows internal haze. The carrying strap on the No. 2A model is present but extremely worn and brittle. The back of the 130 film model features a non-original circular plug in the center panel. Mechanical shutter functions were not tested for accuracy; units are sold as-is for display or restoration.
