Vintage Florenza Cameo Brooch Pendant
Gold Tone Metal
Carved Shell & Faux Pearl Accents
This ornate Victorian Revival brooch by Florenza features a classic hand-carved shell cameo depicting a left-facing lady's profile. The portrait is set within an elaborate gold-tone openwork frame, characterized by intricate scrollwork and scalloped edges. Established by Dan Kasoff in the late 1940s, Florenza was renowned for its highly detailed "Old World" aesthetic, often mimicking the look of precious antique heirlooms with heavy texturing and antiqued finishes.
• Versatile dual-purpose design featuring a rotating C-clasp pin and a pendant bail for chain wear
• Ornate gold-tone filigree frame accented with thirteen white faux pearl rounds
• Hand-carved shell cameo center with soft peach and ivory tones
• Measures approximately 1.75 inches by 1.4 inches
Condition: Good vintage condition. The gold-tone plating remains bright and attractive.
