Aqua-Lung U.S. Divers
Vintage Horse Collar Buoyancy Compensator Vest
Manual Oral Inflator and CO2 Mechanism

This vintage U.S. Divers Aqua-Lung horse collar buoyancy vest represents a classic era of underwater exploration equipment. Established by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Émile Gagnan, the Aqua-Lung brand became synonymous with the birth of modern scuba diving. This specific model features the iconic yellow and black "U.S. Divers Aqua-Lung" logo on the lower front and was designed for surface flotation and buoyancy control during the mid-20th century. Due to its age, this item is being sold strictly as a collectible for display purposes only and should not be used for life-support or active diving.

• Durable rubberized fabric construction in deep forest green
• Features original oral inflation tube and manual CO2 cartridge inflator mechanism
• Adjustable waist strap with metal buckle hardware intact
• Authentic U.S. Divers branding clearly visible on the front circular logo patch
• Includes vintage CO2 cylinder (expired/for display only)

Condition: Fair vintage condition consistent with age and maritime use. The exterior fabric shows surface oxidation, fading, and some cosmetic staining. The yellow logo patch has visible surface cracking and minor peeling around the edges. Manual handwritten markings are visible on the interior neck area. The rubber oral inflation tube appears intact but may have lost flexibility over time. Functionality has not been tested; sold as a historical collectible for display only.
