This collection of three Vernon Kilns commemorative plates showcases the historical transferware designs produced by the renowned California pottery. Founded in 1931, Vernon Kilns became famous for its diverse series of topographical and historical plates, often commissioned for regional tourism or specific organizations. This lot includes the Douglas Aircraft Long Beach plant plate, the Arkansaw Traveler folk scene, and the Presidential Gallery featuring portraits through Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Condition: Fair to good vintage condition. One significant chip is present on the rim edge of the Douglas Aircraft plate. The Arkansaw Traveler plate has old tape residue on the backstamp area. All pieces exhibit fine age-appropriate crazing in the glaze typical of vintage Vernon Kilns earthenware. Transferware images remain crisp and highly legible.
