Authentic mid-century modern covered casserole dish designed by Russel Wright for the Steubenville Pottery American Modern line. Introduced in the late 1930s, this line defined the "Good Design" movement in American homes with its organic, biomorphic shapes and muted glaze colors. This piece remains a cornerstone of Mid-Century Modern kitchenware collections for its sculptural appeal and functional durability.

• Classic Seafoam Blue glaze with characteristic light mottling/speckling

Condition: Glaze retains good overall luster with original mottled finish. Note a hairline crack on the inner rim of the bowl approximately 1 inch long with slight associated staining. Visible tape residue is present on the underside of the base from previous storage. No significant chips or structural repairs. Interior is clean with minimal utensil marking.
