The Hot Wheels Criss Cross Crash set, originally released in 1978, is a classic manually-operated racing environment. Unlike modern sets that rely on battery power, this era featured the "Drive Wheel" booster which players cranked by hand to propel vehicles through a high-speed intersection. This set is a representative example of Mattel's innovative mechanical designs from the late 1970s.

Condition: This set is in used vintage condition and DOES NOT include the two original vehicles. The booster unit shows light scuffing and decal wear; the internal foam rollers are present. Track pieces are structurally sound with intact connectors. The crossover unit has moderate decal wear and some surface dirt. The original box is heavily damaged with a large tear on the right side and general shelf wear.
