Frank W. Shores
Handmade Live Edge Wood Slab Wall Clock
Rustic 1970s-1980s Era, High-Gloss Finish

This artisan wall clock was created by Frank W. Shores of St. Joseph, Missouri, showcasing the natural beauty of a cross-section wood slab. The design features a secondary raised wood tier for the clock face, both finished in a thick, glass-like high-gloss coating that emphasizes the deep amber tones and intricate grain patterns characteristic of mid-century rustic home decor.

• Solid wood slab construction with natural bark edge and visible growth rings
• Two-tier design with gold-tone Arabic numerals and stylized markers
• Battery-operated quartz movement (Japan) recessed into the back
• Original artisan label from Frank W. Shores Wood Crafts intact on reverse

Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The high-gloss finish is clear and bright with minor surface scratches consistent with age. Natural checking (wood splitting) is present as is typical for live-edge slabs of this age. The battery mechanism has been tested and is confirmed to be in working order. Requires one AA battery (not included).
