This antique straight razor was manufactured in Germany for the Clark Bros Cutlery Co., a notable American distributor of quality edged tools. The blade is etched with the "Perfection" model name in a cursive script, while the handle scales feature an elaborate relief-carved floral and foliate design. The combination of German steel craftsmanship and ornate decorative scales makes this a significant example of personal grooming tools from the turn of the century.
