This pair of Alvin silver plate tablespoons features a classic Neoclassical design characterized by an embossed laurel wreath border accented with a delicate scroll or bow motif at the handle's neck. Founded in 1886 in New Jersey and later moving to Providence, Rhode Island, the Alvin Manufacturing Company became renowned for high-quality silver and plated wares. These spoons represent the enduring elegance of early 20th-century American table service.
