A vintage set of six placemats from renowned English maker Lady Clare. These high-quality, rigid placemats feature traditional Asian-inspired artwork, a style often referred to as Chinoiserie. Three mats depict floral arrangements and three depict figural scenes with women in traditional dress. The black lacquered-style finish and felt backing are characteristic of collectible mid-century tableware.

• Lot of 6 individual placemats with two distinct art styles (3 floral, 3 figural)
• Rigid construction with a black finish, gold-tone inner border, and green felt backing
• Each placemat measures approximately 14" x 10"

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. The top surfaces show light to moderate wear, including scuffs and scratches on the black borders. One placemat has a small white chip on the border. The artwork has some areas of light fading or wear. The green felt backing on all placemats shows use, soiling, and wear. The "Lady Clare" stickers are present but are faded and worn.
