Regular price $9.99

American Glass Manufacturer
Ribbed Paneled Pattern
Vintage Carnival Glass, circa 1920s-1940s

This is a classic example of American Carnival Glass, known for its iconic iridescent finish applied over a colored glass base. Marigold, an iridescent sheen over an amber or clear base, was the most popular and widely produced color during the original carnival glass era. This pedestal candy dish, or compote, with its matching lid and ribbed design, was a common decorative and functional household item, prized for the way it caught the light.

• Features a vibrant marigold iridescent finish over an amber glass base
• Classic pedestal candy dish form with a ribbed design and finial-topped lid
• Unmarked, which is common for many pieces produced during the original Carnival Glass era
• Measures approximately 6.5" total height and 4.5" bowl diameter

Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition. The iridescent finish on the pedestal base shows significant flaking and loss, as clearly depicted in the photos. There appears to be some sticker residue on the lid. The interior of the bowl shows some small dark spots. No major chips or cracks are visible on the main body or lid. The iridescence on the bowl and lid remains largely vibrant despite the wear on the base.
