A vintage mechanical alarm clock from the William L. Gilbert Clock Company of Winsted, Connecticut. This "Ruler" model features a classic Art Deco era design with a painted metal case and a simple, legible dial. The clock is a wind-up model with a separate alarm function. As noted, the clock movement winds and ticks; the alarm function has not been tested.

Condition: Used. The clock is in working order (winds and ticks). Cosmetically, the clock shows significant wear consistent with its age, including widespread paint chipping, scratches, and areas of oxidation on the metal case. The dial has some staining, primarily around the bottom. The glass crystal has minor surface scratches.
