This is a lot of two vintage mid-century women's powder compacts. The gold-tone compact is an Elgin American piece made in the USA, featuring an ornate scrolled design with a central cartouche monogrammed "JP". The silver-tone compact has a textured body with a starburst design and contains its original, full, and unused pressed powder from Byzac Ltd. of New York.
