This is a set of two vintage chalkware wall plaques from the renowned Bossons of Congleton, England. Known for their highly detailed, hand-painted character heads and figures, Bossons created the Fraser-Art line to capture the beauty of wildlife. This lot includes:
1. Red Squirrel: A dynamic depiction of a squirrel with acorns, copyrighted in 1981.
2. Bush Baby: A charming figure of a bush baby peeking through leaves, copyrighted in 1982.

• Made from durable, high-density gypsum plaster (chalkware).
• Both pieces feature molded maker's marks on the reverse, confirming authenticity.
• Hand-painted details bring these high-relief animal sculptures to life.
• Squirrel measures approximately 6" tall; Bush Baby measures approx. 4.5" tall.

Condition: Good used vintage condition. As is common with chalkware, both pieces show some minor chips and paint loss from age and display, primarily along the edges of the leaves and on the squirrel's tail.
