Vintage Musical Powder Jar

A vintage mid-century musical powder or trinket jar by Lady-Mate, featuring a Japanese Sankyo music box mechanism. The jar has a spherical body with a gold-tone finish, resting on clear acrylic feet. The lid is detailed with an embossed floral pattern under clear acrylic and is topped with a decorative, jewel-encrusted finial. The interior is lined with red velvet and includes a small round mirror on the underside of the lid. The music box is functional and is wound via a key on the base.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The music box has been tested and is in working order. The exterior shows light scuffs, scratches, and wear consistent with age.
